Question: My pond is only 8 x 10 and the waterfall filter and waterfalls is at the edge of the pond. Is this still the best pump for my situation?
No, pond pumps need to have a certain work load put on them to insure long life and maximum efficiency. This work load is called head pressure. If you have very little head pressure as stated in the question above, you should purchase a Aquasurge line of pumps instead. These pumps work best in zero to very little head pressures. The Aquasurge line of pumps comes in a variety of sizes.
