This is the perfect pond UV filter if you are looking to clear your pond of green pea soup looking water. The Classic’s rugged design has features that allow for quick installation and easy maintenance. Aqua Ultraviolet UV’s will clear your water in 3 to 5 days sometimes overnight and keep it that way. This UV pond filters can be installed using your current pump, but a pvc valve and other pvc fittings would need to be used. This UV filter has two inch slip ports which are standard for pvc parts. Another easy way to install a UV filter is by using a second smaller pump that is connected to the UV filter. A second pump would need to be 1,000 GPH in most cases to connect directly to the pond UV filter without any pvc valves or extensive plumbing.
